4 September 2011 | Admin As commercial furniture suppliers, Kirkhouse has supplied over 750 churches throughout the UK - we have over thirty years experience in church seating and have developed a number of our own chairs for the Church market (including Malvern stacking chair and Dual pew stacking chair). We consider the logical church chair order process we have established, and detail how churches can achieve the best results against time and budget constraints. |
2 September 2011 | Admin Many UK Schools Autumn term starts this Monday 5th September. As usual, our UK school furniture sales office is busy processing orders for the quickest delivery possible. Our own UK furniture factory in Tredegar is working to capacity, producing thousands of Primary and Secondary School chairs and tables - we're now quoting delivery of new orders in October. Thankfully we have stock items ready to dispatch much more quickly - we highlight the school furniture items that are flying of the shelves in September 2011. |
9 August 2011 | Admin In March 2009, we received a furniture inquiry from Heddon on the Wall Library; at the time, Libraries were being closed across the UK. Heddon on the Wall Parish Council took control of their local library and established plans to convert it into a multi-use community facility. We were proud to be invited to contribute our furniture expertise throughout the project, until final delivery of our commercial library furniture in March 2010. Furniture Blogger reflects on the furniture installation project. |
1 August 2011 | Admin Every year the largest UK school furniture manufacturers are presented with large orders for school tables and chairs. Kirkhouse keep up with the rush! |
25 July 2011 | Admin As commercial furniture suppliers, we are very big fans of Polypropylene / Plastic Stacking Chairs. Most, if not all of us, have sat in at least one plastic chair. Our School classrooms are filled with them, our Community Centre's have them in store for large events, Village Halls can keep them for decades. Stacking plastic chairs are incredibly cheap and perform for generations; plastic stacking chairs can be passed from school to village hall to scout group and remain in regular heavy use while alternatives barely last five years. |
